From hotel to museum, Wellsbuilt part of history
Orlando’s Paramore neighborhood was once the epicenter of black business and home to prominent African Americans, including Dr. William Wells. The Wellsbuilt Hotel, now a museum, was a significant gathering spot for travelers, business people, and entertainers who were denied accommodation in segregated hotels.
