Mobile PD: Man turns himself in after victim shot during argument

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A 20-year-old Mobile man remains in Mobile County Metro Jail on a first-degree assault charge after turning himself in following an altercation that ended with gunfire, according to police and jail records.

Terrell Daieshawin Lina turned himself in to authorities on Feb. 15, a day after the shooting incident, Mobile police said. He is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond, jail records show.

Police said it was just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, when officers responded to University Hospital regarding a male who had been assaulted. Their investigation determined that the victim had been shot by a Lina during a verbal altercation, police said.
